B-CU Inspirational Gospel Choir Lifts Spirits at Local Nursing Home
On January 25, the B-CU Inspirational Gospel Choir performed for the residents and staff of the Deltona Health Care Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Following is a letter of thanks sent by the facilities’ life enrichment director:
On behalf of the residents, family members and staff of Deltona Health Care Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, we take this time to thank you for the attendance of the Great Bethune Cookman Inspirational Gospel Choir on Sunday, January 25, 2010. Their heart, professionalism, love and commitment to their gift is to be commended.
Their presence and energy during this event was thoroughly enjoyed and a blessing to all. Many persons in attendance with their hands raised were weeping as they joined in singing songs lifting up the name of Jesus! Those that were unable to attend due to health situations could hear the beautiful melodies throughout the facility, including staff the tending to their needs.
Mr. Kendrick's commitment, leadership and desire to see these precious young students reach beyond their expectations and become a productive member of society in every aspect of life is visible and above reproach.
Again, thank you for the great leadership that you provide on a daily basis and for permitting the Great Bethune Cookman Gospel Inspirational Gospel Choir to visit our family at Deltona Health Care Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
If there's anything that we can do to assist and support the Great Bethune Cookman College, please don't hesitate to contact us.
