Travel Information

Once your reservation has been confirmed for the PARENT/FAMILY WEEKEND 2011, please feel free to schedule your travel/hotel arrangements.  Please be attentive to starting and ending times of your scheduled program to ensure that you do not miss important scheduled components.   Listed for your convenience is a list of host hotels used by the University.


Directions to the University

Bethune-Cookman University is easily assessable from Interstate 95.  Traveling south, take Exit 216A; traveling north, take Exit 261.  Proceed east on International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) for approximately 5 miles.   Turn left on Lincoln Street.

Travel by Car

Travel by Air

Taxi and shuttle services are available from the Orlando and Daytona Beach International Airports to the campus. Contact airline customer service for more information. B-CU does not have a shuttle service. If you're traveling by air, be sure to a book flight that arrives at least one day ahead so that you have enough time to arrive and check in before the 9:00am Welcome Session.

B-CU to Host Black Male Empowerment Summit April 30-May 2

Bethune-Cookman University will bring nationally renowned speakers to the campus for a Black Male Empowerment Summit from April 30 to May 2. The summit, “Elevating the Man, While Supressing the Hood,” is free and open to the public.
