Where can I receive information regarding orientation?

The College of undergraduate studies is responsible for Freshman F.I.R.S.T  New Student Orientation and is located in Faith Hall.  For addition information please contact Mr. Cox  at (386)-481-2337 or email orientation@cookman.edu

Why is orientation mandatory?

Freshman F.I.R.S.T New Student Orientation is a tradition at B-CU. It is designed to provide important information related to academic expectations and campus resources (e.g., financial aid, bursar, on-campus-living, student health, and other related information.)

When and how can I sign up for orientation?

Students can register, select a date, and pay there orientation fee online at commerce.cashnet.com

How can I pay my Orientation Registration fee?

To make a payment online:

  1. Click on Payment Center https://www.cookman.edu/payment/index.html
  2. Click on Link for Payment Item You Choose
  3. Enter dollar amount of payment
  4. Click on Add to Shopping Cart
  5. Click Check Out
  6. Select Method of Payment and Click Continue to Proceed with Payment
  7. Enter information and Continue to Check Out

What if I am unavailable to attend any of the dates open to me?

Can I sign up on the same orientation date as my friend?


What if I need to change my confirmed orientation date?

Can my family attend orientation with me?

Yes, a parent or guardian is encouraged to attend the orientation. Parents will have their own orientation program and sessions to attend.

B-CU Hosts Free Summer Academy for Local Children

Approximately 100 elementary school-age children descended on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University for a Summer Academy for rising third, fourth and fifth graders. Frolicking across the green lawns of the institution, the young students learned not only the basics such as reading, math and science, but also the importance of attending college and planning their future careers.
