Welcome. How may we serve you?

From the Office of the Chaplain

Rev. David Allen

Greetings! Bethune-Cookman University is an exceptional place established on the historic foundation of the Christian faith. Our President, Dr. Edison O. Jackson, faculty, staff and students all represent diverse religious traditions from around the globe.  As a Methodist endowed University, B-CU is unapologetically Christian and anchored in the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ. We believe in the Wesleyan practice o Scripture, reason, tradition and experience.

The Chaplaincy Department is open to serving all faith groups regardless of race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, gender or ability.  We are intentional in providing compassionate care to all who desire spiritual counseling, encouragement and guidance.

If you feel a call upon your life, desire to grow in your faith, share your gifts and talents, or to learn more about the Chapel Assistant Program offered in the Chaplaincy Department, we’d like to meet you. We are located in the Parlin Student Center.  Again, Welcome to B-CU!

Peace & Blessings,

Rev. David Allen Jr.
