About Counseling Services
The Counseling Center is committed to providing students with a cultural and holistic approach to counseling. We strive to efficiently meet the needs of all students on and off campus by offering a multitude of services that include:
Individual, Couples, and Family Counseling
- Support Groups
- Workshop
- Training Sessions
- Community Resources
- Volunteer Opportunities
- Internships
The Counseling Center maintains a confidential and safe environment for students to achieve emotional wellness and self-empowerment.
Our goals are based on the African word "Ku'Badili" which means to enlighten, empower and promote change. We strive to learn from the past by working diligently to break cycles of oppression that affect all cultures. Our mission is to empower students to maintain their vision for excellence both academically and emotionally.
