False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR)
This is a support group that provides education on various types of anxiety disorders and phobias.
Positively Speaking
This support group provides education on various levels and types of depression and teaches coping skills.

It Gets Better
This is a support group for students who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, and/or transgender or who may be questioning their sexuality.

Tongues of Fire
This support group promotes healing through spoken word and journaling of past and present emotional pain.

We Are Survivors
This is a therapy group for students who have survived sexual assault, or abuse as a child or an adult.

The Men and Women of Sankofa
This group provides history of learning from the past and building for the future. It provides motivation and guidance to increase self-empowerment and self-efficacy.

Honor Thy Self
This is a women's group that discusses the importance of self, respect, honor and understanding through various stages of life's transitions.

I Am My Brother's Keeper
This is a male's group that discusses the importance of self, respect, honor and understanding through various stages of life's transitions.

Release to Increase
This support group teaching positive ways to decrease and release anger in a healthy
manner in order to increase emotional stability when angered.

New Parent Support Group
This group provides support, resources and education to students who are new mothers and fathers.

I Am the Author of My Story
This is a group that educates about substance use and alcohol abuse, criminal activity such as shoplifting, selling drugs, prostituting and any other illegal affiliations that can end in imprisonment.

Triple A: Attitude, Academics and Athletics
This group helps B-CU athletes manage academics as well as mental and physical wellness.

Money Matters
This group provides basic money management and saving skills for the present and future.

When Tears Dry
This group provides support for students who have suffered a recent loss, or death of a family member, old friend, peer, or a parents' divorce.

I Wear the Uniform in My Heart
This support group will assist military veterans in transition to civilian life and the academic environment.

You Are Not Alone
This is a support group for students who have parents or loved ones who are challenged with a terminal illness, such as various types of cancer, or AIDS.

Becoming My Best Self
This group provides education on understanding various eating disorders and how to develop a healthy body image and a healthy outlook on life.

Sistahs Talking
This is a dinner and chat meeting (students will provide their own meal). It is an open group that is held every Thursday evening on the Quad, where women can come, fellowship and talk about issues affecting women on campus.

Confidentiality
Confidentiality is an essential aspect of the counseling relationship therefore, counseling records are separate from B-CU records which prevent the counseling staff from discussing the student's counseling in any way without written permission from the student.

Limits of Confidentiality
Confidentiality can be breached if a student poses a threat to self or others.
Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in the group setting.
