• Requirements for incoming Freshmen
  • Freshmen entering the institution who have a composite ACT score of 23 or higher, a SAT score of 1550 or higher, students who rank in the top 15% of the high school class or students who have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Requirement for upperclassmen/transfer students
  • Transfer students and currently enrolled BCU students who have at least 15 college credits and a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher

Graduation Requirements

• Students must take 24 credit hours of honors courses within the General Education curriculum and an additional 9 credit hours at the 200 level or above.  Students may use AP, IB, or transfer credits to fulfill requirements, and must have a cumulative 3.3 GPA to graduate from the Honors College.
• Students that enter the Honors College after their during their sophomore year or later are required to complete 12 honor credit hours at the 200 level or above.
• Students graduating from Honors College must complete two semesters of a foreign language.
• Students graduating from Honors College must complete 100 volunteer hours.
• Students graduating from the Honors College must complete an Honors Thesis.
