About the School of Graduate Studies

Bethune-Cookman has graduate programs in Transformative Leadership, Integrated Environmental Science, and Exceptional Student Education. A faculty of experts committed to teaching and encouraging students professionally and personally supports each degree program.

Master of Science in Transformative Leadership is an 18-month online master’s program that includes one residency at the beginning of the four semesters. This interdisplinary degree program is designed for working adults who want a program that will enhance their leadership skills in the workplace while equipping them with an ethical foundation in civic participation to become a transformational leader in our global society.

The Master of Science in integrated Environmental Science explores environmental topics from a firm grounding in the natural and physical sciences.  The program addresses integrating social, economic, and political aspects of environmental topics to develop functional approaches to address environmental issues, Hands-on, service-based, and interdisciplinary, the MS in IES seeks students who want to learn to make a difference.

Franklin Beckwith '59 Donates $60,000 to B-CU

Franklin Beckwith, who is blind, couldn’t see the expanse of the current campus. But, he said he wants to be a part of educating the next generation and contribute to the school’s growth. Thus, he proudly delivered a check for $60,000 to Bethune-Cookman University, and quietly asked that the funds be used to help current students pay for their education.
