Accessible Archives is a family of thirteen electronic full-text searchable historical databases: American County Histories; African American Newspapers: The 19th Century; The Civil War; Frank Leslie’s Weekly; Godey’s Lady’s Book; The Liberator; The Lily; National Anti-Slavery Standard; National Citizen and Ballot Box; The Pennsylvania Gazette; The Revolution; South Carolina Newspapers; The Virginia Gazette. This primary source archived historical information, previously furnished only in microformat, hard copy form or as images only, has been selected to reflect a broad view of the times, and has been assembled into databases with a strict attention to detail allowing access to specific information with pinpoint accuracy.

Gale/Artemis Literary Sources
Artemis Literary Sources integrates full-text literary content with metadata and subject indexing and provides workflow tools to analyze information. You can research authors and their works, literary movements and genres. Search across your library's Literature databases to find full text of literary works, journal articles, literature criticism, reviews, biographical information and overviews. Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL)

Hoovers Company Profiles, available through Westlaw Campus Research, contain the most recent profile and reports available from Hoover's for more than 41,000 public and private companies (approximately 29,000 U.S. companies and 12,000 non-U.S. companies; 13,000 public and 21,000 private). The profiles and reports provide an in-depth company overviews. It includes information regarding history, executives, operations, and industry codes. SEC Filings are also available.

Hospitality & Tourism Complete (EBSCO)

IEEE (pronounced "I-triple E") Xplore
Access to more than 3.6 Million full text journal articles, conference papers and standards from IEEE, IET and VDE. Included with many of these papers are links to multimedia which includes PPT or audio/video files. Content incluses peer reviewed papers on anything that technology touches such as EE, CD, Business, Criminology, Art, and Nursing.

International Index to Music Periodicals Full Text (ProQuest)
This database provides indexing and abstracts for several hundred international music periodicals from over 20 countries, plus full text for more than 140 of the indexed journals. The database currently includes over 770,000 records, the majority from the most recent ten years of publication. Some complete journal runs are included, with indexing back to 1874. Covers the full spectrum of subjects and all aspects of music, including music education, performance, ethnomusicology, musical theatre, theory, popular music forms and composition.



Full text and images of back issues of selected scholarly journals in history, economics, political science, demography, mathematics, anthropology, sociology, education, literature, and other fields of the humanities and social sciences from the 1800s to 3-5 years ago. Subscription collections include: Arts & Sciences I, Health & General Sciences, and Journal of Military History.

ProQuest PsychBOOKS
ProQuest PsychBooks is a full-text collection of over 1600 books published by APA. Classic books from other publishers are also included, along with over 1,500 authored entries from the APA/Oxford University Press Encyclopedia of Psychology. Coverage: 1806 - current.

PsycTESTS, produced by the American Psychological Association (APA), serves as a repository for a growing selection of psychological tests and measures, including thousands of actual test instruments and test items that are available for immediate download and use in research and teaching.

PubMed comprises more than 24 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

Regional Business News (EBSCO)
Regional Business News incorporates coverage of more than 80 regional business publications covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.

Research Gate
ResearchGate is the world's largest professional network for scientists and researchers. It provides researchers with access to around 40 million abstracts and tens of thousands of full texts, uploaded by the authors themselves. Researchers can search through seven of the largest databases simultaneously, such as PubMED, IEEE & CiteSeer, by using the literature search.

RILM Abstracts of Music Literature (ProQuest)
This database is a comprehensive guide to publications in music from all over the world. It covers articles, books, catalogues, dissertations and other publications from the 1830s to the present.



SAGE Premier
SAGE Premier provides online access to an interdisciplinary collection of over 645 peer-reviewed, scholarly journals, including high-impact research titles published on behalf of over 245 scholarly and professional societies. This journal collection spans many subject areas including psychology, business, criminal justice, humanities, social sciences, science, technology, medicine and more. Dates of coverage for most titles is 1999 to the present.

Salem Health
Salem Health brings online access to Salem Press’ award-winning health reference works. The first reference set included is Salem Press’ best-selling Magill’s Medical Guide.

ScienceDirect is a leading full-text scientific database hosted on Elsevier’s SciVerse platform. The database offers journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and more than 11,000 books.  Bethune-Cookman has licensed the journal collection Health and Life Sciences (College Edition), which is a subset of this large database. 

Springer scientific journals provides researchers with access to millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols and reference works. SpringerLink eBooks contains tens of thousands of materials with copyright years 2005-2014. SpringerLink eBooks is grouped into 13 fully-indexed and searchable subject collections. A wide range of science and social science books are available.

SocINDEX™ is a comprehensive sociology research database. Its extensive scope and content provides users with a wealth of extremely useful information, encompassing the broad spectrum of sociological study.
